This is our new home, we had (and have) lots to do and aim to be as self sufficient as possible in these turbulent times.

But now we are 36 months in and a LOT has been going on…

We have installed 6.5kW Solar panels and an 11kWh battery
An Electric car charger that is run from the sun when it shines (This is great as my car has a 77 kWh battery so we have loads of storage capacity just not enough sun!)
Made huge improvements to the garden and growing areas, we eat so much of our (Anns!) grown vegetables
A Borehole so we are water independent (but we needed a sophisticated filtration system sadly)
We have renovated the roofs of the barns (massively over budget by 300% after major woodwork issues) - This will get whole new topic as it was epic…
We have created a new living room with the most spectacular views
Created a decking area to admire the views
Knocked down a dilapidated old garage and built a new greenhouse, just gets too hot when the sun shines

The gallery shows some of this but we have been so busy doing all this I haven't maintained the website very well! On the the to do list…
